About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing compliance reports, required recordkeeping, inspections, and permit applications for Hunt companies. It involves assisting with environmental notifications to regulatory agencies and coordinating timely communication of compliance-related information. The position also manages several key compliance programs including Title V, storage tank, fenceline monitoring, internal auditing, and agency reporting. Additionally, the role requires researching environmental regulations to support compliance determinations and permitting needs, as well as supporting and cross-training with other members of the Environmental Department to ensure continuity of environmental compliance programs. Participation in other environmental activities such as water compliance sampling and monitoring, performance testing, Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) administration, oil spill response activity, CEMS oversight, and other environmental activities is also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 2 or more years of related environmental and/or engineering experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Will be required to have a valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare compliance reports, required recordkeeping, inspections, and permit applications for Hunt companies.
  • Assist with environmental notifications to regulatory agencies and coordinate timely communication of compliance-related information.
  • Manage the Title V, storage tank, fenceline monitoring, internal auditing, and agency reporting compliance programs.
  • Research environmental regulations as needed to support compliance determinations, permitting needs, and implementation of existing or developing regulatory requirements.
  • Support and cross-train with other members of the Environmental Department to support continuity of environmental compliance programs and assist with department-wide compliance responsibilities as needed.
  • Participate in other Environmental Department activities such as water compliance sampling and monitoring, performance testing, Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) administration, oil spill response activity, CEMS oversight, and other environmental activities as needed.
