The CDL A Driver works on-site at various retail stores and performs two functions while complying with applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA, and DEA regulations: characterizing, segregating, packaging, and documenting retail hazardous waste; and characterizing, segregating, packaging, and documenting pharmaceutical waste. The role also prepares the documentation required to meet applicable state, EPA, and DOT regulations. The position travels between customer retail facilities within an assigned territory. It is primarily a HAZWOPER-trained technician role involving on-site waste characterization, packing, and document preparation, as well as driving a truck—not solely picking up hazardous waste.
