About The Position

Communicate all environmental safety policies and procedures to the University Community, including developing and maintaining the environmental safety website.

Requirements

A college degree or four to eight years of experience in related field.
Six month to two years (Equivalent combination of education and employment).
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated ability to respond to emergencies and critical situations appropriately.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage the successful completion of reports and safety manuals.

Responsibilities

Ability to work across departments, colleges and schools.
Demonstrate the ability to respond to emergencies and critical situations.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DEQ regulations.
Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize and manage the successful completion of reports and safety manual.
Lead and work with the University Wide Safety Team.
Ability to create and utilize documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to develop and revise web-pages in Cascade.
