We have an immediate opening for an ECU Service & Repair Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental control systems, with a focus on repair and service of Environmental Control Units (ECUs).

Requirements

High school/Vo-tech diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience, or associate degree with 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and service, including refrigeration circuit and electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, sheet metal part drawings, schematics, wiring, refrigeration diagrams, and assembly drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience in industrial HVAC equipment assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
Brazing and Refrigerant Handling experience.
EPA Section 608 Certificate (minimum Level I & II).
IPC 620 Certification.
J-Std-001 Certification.

Responsibilities

Confer with Supervisor and utilize strong communication and critical thinking skills to determine repair priorities.
Repair/correct/troubleshoot ECU system operation issues and accessories by investigating system setup, mechanical operations, and electrical/electronic operation.
Assist in failure analysis and investigations by providing technical insights and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to develop sound corrective actions.
Support training efforts during customer sessions by providing instructions for field replacement of components.
Ensure products are manufactured, assembled, and tested in compliance with product drawings, BOMs, approved workmanship standards, and work instructions.
