Ross Strategic is seeking a motivated entry-level Environmental Consultant to join their team, focusing on environmental challenges related to watershed and landscape-level planning and protection. The firm collaborates with diverse individuals to define problems, analyze data, and develop lasting solutions for clients including public agencies, private businesses, foundations, and non-profits. This role will primarily support projects in Washington State, requiring candidates to be Washington residents or willing to relocate. The work involves engaging with various governmental bodies (Tribal, federal, state, local) and stakeholders to design and facilitate processes and meetings concerning ecosystem protection and restoration. Current projects focus on integrating climate and natural resource concerns with land use, stormwater, and transportation planning; watershed protection and restoration in Puget Sound; working with Puget Sound recovery systems and groups; developing programs for aquatic life restoration, flood damage reduction, and agricultural viability under changing climate conditions; compiling, maintaining, and analyzing large datasets and creating map products; and program evaluation and strategic planning. Ross Strategic emphasizes internal growth and provides training, mentoring, and coaching.
