About The Position
HB NEXT is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Consultant / NPDES Inspector in the Wilmington NC area. The position involves supporting environmental compliance on active construction sites, building relationships, and working with a team of dedicated professionals. HB NEXT, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, has been a compliance partner since 1999, offering innovative SWPPP, NPDES, and safety inspection solutions for residential and commercial construction projects across the U.S. They utilize proprietary technology and expertise to help clients navigate OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements, providing practical solutions from inspections to training and consulting.
Requirements
- National or NC Erosion Certification (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain within 60 days (training available).
- Previous construction field experience highly desired.
- Reliable transportation.
- Self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Conducting environmental compliance inspections on active construction sites.
- Supporting clients in navigating environmental regulations (SWPPP, NPDES, OSHA, EPA, DOT).
- Building relationships with clients and site teams.
- Performing hands-on inspections and potentially training.
