About The Position

The Environmental Compliance Technician performs precision testing, inspections, and related maintenance on fuel storage and dispensing equipment to ensure operational performance, safety, and compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards. The role includes detailed evaluations of fueling systems, identifying deficiencies, and supporting corrective actions and system reliability. The technician also supports preventive maintenance, responds to service calls, and assists with emergency troubleshooting when required.

Requirements

Knowledge of fuel storage and dispensing systems and related testing procedures.
Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret technical documents, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
Proficiency with inspection tools, testing equipment, and reporting systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to assigned locations.

Responsibilities

Perform precision testing and inspections on fuel storage tanks, piping systems, and fuel dispensing equipment.
Conduct compliance and operational tests in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Inspect fueling equipment for leaks, malfunctions, wear, and safety concerns.
Accurately document test results, inspection findings, and maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend or perform corrective actions.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards.
Coordinate with site personnel, contractors, and supervisors regarding inspection and testing activities.
Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs.
Respond to service calls and assist with emergency troubleshooting when required.
