About The Position

The Environment Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of overall store appearance, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers, and performing various cleaning and recovery tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. The position also supports operational tasks such as truck unloading, stocking, and participating in sales and loyalty program initiatives.

Requirements

Experience in merchandise data integrity, planograms, and daily recovery routines.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Nice To Haves

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Deep cleans key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high-traffic areas.
Keeps cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintains positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Projects a positive image and serves as a role model.
Provides a fast and friendly check-out experience and executes cash handling to standards.
Engages customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completes enrollments.
Assists with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participates in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Supports shrink and safety programs.
Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Executes Company policies and standards.
