About The Position

The Environment Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, including store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver on Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in finding products, and performing various cleaning and recovery tasks. The position also includes other duties such as providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with omnichannel processes, participating in truck unloading and stocking, supporting safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

Experience in merchandise data integrity, planograms, and daily recovery routines.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
