About The Position

The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operates renewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage. The Environment (En) Intern will support the En team as a whole but will prioritize supporting the Ontario workload. Responsibilities include tasks and deliverables that can be used across the portfolio as well as project-specific deliverables. The En Intern will work closely with the En Managers, Team Leaders, and Director.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Support Environment Managers with consistency reviews for major deliverables
• Support Planning Act and Provincial Permit applications: Ontario + BC Projects
• RFP bid support (e.g. formatting + permitting plans)
• Support stakeholder and community engagement activities
• Assist with management of material preparation
• Support implementation of Boralink across the team
• Complete desktop environmental constraints analyses for early-stage projects
• Support preparation of consultant directory for Ontario and British Columbia
• Support Development team with project and competitor analyses
