Responsibilities
- Supporting senior advisors to provide advice and guidance to operations staff relating to the regulations of manufacturing industry (Cement Lime and Minerals, Chemicals, Food and Drink, Metals, Paper Pulp and Textiles).
- Working closely with Government, other regulators, NGOs, industry and trade bodies
- Gathering data and information to help set standards for pollution control
- Supporting the team with data and knowledge management
- Co-ordinating provision of training and development to operational colleagues
- Opportunities to get involved with incident management when pollution incidents occur.
