About The Position

The Envelope Folding Machine Adjuster is responsible for producing envelopes that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime. This role involves checking the work of previous shifts, ensuring the quality of finished envelopes, and making necessary adjustments to machines. The adjuster will also be responsible for changing machine configurations for different jobs, troubleshooting malfunctions, performing routine maintenance, and working collaboratively with operators and supervisors to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

Check work of previous shift for quality & correctness and notify supervisor of any issues.
Check the quality of the finished envelopes throughout the job by following company quality control procedures and correct issues as necessary to maintain and/or achieve the quality standards.
Change sizes, styles, windows, gum, and printing from one job to the next with minimal downtime.
Keep machines running at optimum speed to meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Identify machine malfunctions, troubleshoot, and correct in a timely manner.
Notify a supervisor promptly when machines need maintenance/repairs above what can be completed by the adjuster.
Work as a team with other adjusters and operators to accomplish shift goals.
Assist Envelope Machine Operators with their duties when necessary and/or when available.
Keep envelope folding machine and area around machine neat & clean.
Fill out production paperwork and pull samples as directed.
Communicate with outgoing shift and incoming shift regarding equipment status, job status, and any other relevant information.
Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on envelope folding machines as directed by supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Execute the responsibilities of this position following company safety policies and company procedures.
