About The Position

Lead. Coach. Make an Impact on American Agriculture. Join NASDA as an Enumerator Coach and help a team of field Enumerators collect accurate information that farmers, ranchers, rural communities, and agricultural decision-makers rely on. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, providing guidance, and working independently-while making a real contribution to American agriculture. As an Enumerator Coach, you'll be the go-to resource for your team. You'll help Enumerators succeed by reviewing completed surveys for accuracy and completeness, coaching and supporting Enumerators throughout data collection, answering technical and procedural questions, helping troubleshoot problems and improve data quality, communicating with the NASDA Manager and assigned Enumerators, completing surveys when needed, monitoring progress and helping the team meet deadlines, and preparing and presenting quarterly training to groups of 40+ Enumerators.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus one year of college or relevant work experience.
• Experience with data collection.
• Availability for approximately 20–30 hours per week, including occasional weekends.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel intermittently.
• Ability to walk unassisted up to 100 yards and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to attend quarterly in-person training, with occasional travel of up to 350 miles.
• Private home-office space.
• A strong communicator who enjoys working with people.
• Confident coaching, teaching, or mentoring others.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• A strong critical thinker who can solve problems independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable learning and using technology, including an iPad and email.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing completed surveys for accuracy and completeness.
