About The Position

NASDA is seeking an Enumerator Coach to lead and mentor a team of field Enumerators in collecting accurate agricultural data. This part-time role offers flexibility, approximately 20-30 hours per week, and is ideal for individuals with strong people skills, leadership abilities, and a connection to agriculture. The position involves coaching Enumerators, ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting problems, and contributing to the collection of vital information for farmers, ranchers, and rural communities.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus one year of college or relevant work experience.
• Experience with data collection.
• Availability for approximately 20–30 hours per week, including occasional weekends.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel intermittently.
• Ability to walk unassisted up to 100 yards and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to attend quarterly in-person training, with occasional travel of up to 350 miles.
• Private home-office space.
• Comfortable learning and using technology, including an iPad and email.
• Strong communicator who enjoys working with people.
• Confident coaching, teaching, or mentoring others.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Strong critical thinker who can solve problems independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Interested in agriculture and supporting farmers, ranchers, and rural communities.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing completed surveys for accuracy and completeness.
• Coaching and supporting Enumerators throughout data collection.
• Answering technical and procedural questions.
• Helping troubleshoot problems and improve data quality.
• Communicating with the NASDA Manager and assigned Enumerators.
• Completing surveys when needed.
• Monitoring progress and helping the team meet deadlines.
• Preparing and presenting quarterly training to groups of 40+ Enumerators.
