Requirements
- Overhead crane experience
- Safely and efficiently perform all essential functions
- Read job card and complete documentation
- Read blueprints
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience operating flanging machines
Responsibilities
- Operate touch sensitive machines to roll flanges on disks and dished heads
- Set up machine for operation by lifting and centering work piece into fixture on turntable
- Adjust for thickness and curvature of metal before setting for bending pressure
- Read blueprints
- Load material for processing
- Verify dimensional requirements
- Unload and transfer material to next workstation or storage
- Clean and sweep work area
- Operate overhead cranes
- Set up and operate assigned equipment
- Read job card and complete documentation
- Perform housekeeping and maintain all required records
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
