Entry Level Tire Technician
About The Position
Tire Discounters is seeking an entry-level Tire Technician to replace, repair, and rotate tires on customers’ vehicles. The technician will receive training from Advanced Tire Technicians and Service Technicians to learn the fundamentals of auto repair and prepare for more advanced positions within the company. The role supports the core tire-service operation by performing tire work, operating shop equipment, completing related paperwork, maintaining a clean and organized shop, assisting customers and coworkers, and working safely. Tire Discounters describes opportunities for career advancement, including a potential path from Tire Technician to Advanced Tire Technician, Service Technician, and Service Manager. Compensation is listed as $14.00–$16.00+ per hour, with opportunities to earn additional income through overtime and weekly commission. Employees are paid weekly. Requirements
- Prior automotive experience is not required.
- Service orientation and a positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age.
- Available to work Saturdays.
- Capable of continuous standing, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outside weather conditions.

- General mechanical skills are helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair tires.
- Operate a balancer and tire machine.
- Complete work orders and related paperwork.
- Maintain, organize, and clean the shop and equipment.
