About The Position

Start a career in aerospace testing. No experience required. At Vertical Laboratories, the connectors and components we test go into aircraft, spacecraft, and subsea systems. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person who wants to learn the trade from the ground up. We'll train you on real qualification testing from your first weeks, and we keep training you after that.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (email, file management, spreadsheets).
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine willingness to learn.
• Applicants must be U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Nice To Haves

• Wiring, soldering, or crimping experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wire and prepare test samples following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform mating durability testing on military and aerospace connectors.
• Photograph samples and test setups to document every stage of testing.
• Support experienced technicians with setup, monitoring, and teardown.
• Record test data and photos in our lab records system.
• Receive, log, and ship customer hardware.
• Keep the lab and shop clean, organized, and safe.
