About The Position

This is a contract-to-hire position for an Entry Level Technician (Helper) with limited telecom experience. The hiring manager is seeking a trainable individual with a background in physically demanding jobs. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependability, and excellent attendance are crucial for this role, which will be based at a data center. There is significant growth opportunity within the organization, with the potential to become a leader and eventually a direct employee of Vision Technology once headcount is available. The initial pay rate is $20/hr, with potential for increase upon moving into a leadership role, though this is not guaranteed under the contract until becoming a direct employee.

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Hands on electrical or military experience is highly valued
• Must be able to work on ladders and lifts

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label and port equipment
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians
