About The Position

This is a contract-to-hire position for an Entry Level Technician (Helper) with limited telecom experience. The hiring manager is seeking a trainable individual with a background in physically demanding jobs. A strong work ethic and positive attitude are paramount for this role, which involves working in a data center environment. Dependability and consistent attendance are crucial. The position requires the ability to work 10-hour days outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat and cold). There is significant growth opportunity within the organization, with the potential to advance into leadership roles. This role is expected to be a long-term contract with the possibility of becoming a direct employee of Vision Technology when headcount becomes available.

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Hands on electrical or military experience is highly valued
• Must be able to work on ladders and lifts
• OSHA 10 certification
• General labor experience
• Safety mindset
• Experience with scissor lifts

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label and port equipment
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians
