About The Position

This is a Level 1 technician (helper) role with limited telecom experience required. The hiring manager is seeking a trainable individual with a history of working in physically demanding jobs. Key attributes for this role include a strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependability, and excellent attendance, as the position is based in a data center environment. There is significant growth opportunity within the organization, with a focus on developing future leaders. This position is initially a long-term contract with the potential to become a direct hire with Vision Technology once headcount is available.

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Must be able to work on ladders and lifts

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label and port equipment
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians
