About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards, helping build customer loyalty by earning trust and ensuring confidence in AutoNation’s care for vehicle safety and reliability. The role pays $17.00 per hour and offers advancement potential. AutoNation provides factory training, OEM certification support, tools, and opportunities to advance into service, sales, management, regional, and executive roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
