About The Position
Stanley Chevrolet is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Service Technician to join our growing service team in Trenton, Maine. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong work ethic, and wants to learn from experienced automotive professionals. As a Quick Lane Technician, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience performing routine maintenance services while building the skills needed to advance into a full-service automotive technician role. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude or automotive interest
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to our Trenton location
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance services
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors and senior technicians
- Assist with tire services, battery replacements, and preventative maintenance procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow dealership and manufacturer service standards
- Assist with inventory organization and shop operations as needed
- Support senior technicians while developing technical skills
- Help maintain facility cleanliness, including shop floors, customer areas, grounds, and equipment
