About The Position

Centurion Anesthesia provides comprehensive anesthesia coverage to ASC's and Office Based Surgery across the US. We have a hand-picked, top tier group of talented Board Certified Anesthesiologists that focus exclusively on Ambulatory and Office Based Anesthesia. In addition to providing staff, we consult on development, accreditation and maintenance of ASC and OBS certification. We implement safety programs with a team approach to ensure Patient Safety First environments in all our facilities. We are looking for an efficient Entry Level Staff Accountant.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field required
Minimum GPA of 3.3
1-3 years of accounting experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail and results orientation are required.
Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills.
Must adapt well to a demanding, fast paced work environment.
Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently
Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure individually as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

Prepare daily reconciliation of cases by facility; resolve all discrepancies
Prepare monthly revenue reconciliation of all collections by company
Review and maintain revenue reports to ensure that all collections are handled in a timely manner
Collaborate with the medical billing company to resolve all revenue discrepancies
Prepare bi-weekly payroll schedule; collect and verify timesheets
Prepare payroll reconciliations; investigate discrepancies
Respond to employee and medical billing questions and requests
Assisting the Accounting Manager as needed with ad hoc projects
