About The Position

Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing company and part of Boeing Global Services, is seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer in Maryland Heights, Missouri and/or Hazelwood, Missouri. The role develops software for F-15 Mission Planning systems. The company describes itself as an information technology and business intelligence solutions provider with approximately 500 professionals serving 75 defense, commercial, and government clients across more than 50 U.S. locations and 9 countries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance is required pre-start and a final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 0+ years of related work experience; or a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of directly related work experience; or 8+ years of related, relevant experience.
• 1+ year of experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, maintain, and unit test code using software development environments and programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Develop, document, and maintain software designs using established methods and practices.
• Troubleshoot defects.
• Collaborate with others to propose solutions to problems.
• Integrate and compile software components into builds.
• May test limited component-level software in the target environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
