Entry Level Service Technician
About The Position
Audi Orland Park is currently seeking an Express Technician. This is an entry-level position in the workshop that offers tremendous opportunity to grow within the company to the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a new-car dealer service department and/or college-level Automotive Program education. This is a full-time position. Main duties will include performing basic maintenance and repairs, assisting Journeyman Technicians, assisting with workshop cleanliness, and assisting with Porter duties when needed. There is a probationary period is for 90 days.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a new-car dealer service department
- College-level Automotive Program education
- Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred
Responsibilities
- Check and communicate oil level to teammates
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
- Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
- Performing basic maintenance and repairs
- Assisting Journeyman Technicians
- Assisting with workshop cleanliness
- Assisting with Porter duties when needed.
