About The Position

The Boeing Company’s Defense, Space & Security organization is seeking an Entry Level Procurement Agent (Level 1) to join its team in Huntsville, Alabama. The role supports procurement and sourcing activities for programs by partnering with Program and Engineering teammates to identify sourcing solutions. The position is expected to be 100% onsite and is on first shift. It may require travel up to 10% of the time. Candidates must meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person. Relocation assistance is not available; candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. The position does not require a security clearance and is not safety sensitive.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person, as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.

• Experience working both independently and in team environments.
• Related work experience or relevant military experience; an advanced degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements.
• Support sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documentation of contracts and agreements.
• Partner with Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for programs.
• Continuously review and analyze demand and supply.
• Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
• Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and identify improvement opportunities.
• Use business acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills to proactively engage with various disciplines and program stakeholders.
