About The Position

This posting is designed specifically to connect with Warren Tech students and recent graduates interested in entry-level CNC machining and manufacturing opportunities. You do not need years of professional machining experience to apply. We are looking for students who have developed foundational machining skills through Warren Tech and are excited to continue learning in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Primus Aerospace manufactures high-precision components for the aerospace and defense industries. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have recently completed a Warren Tech machining, manufacturing, or related technical program
• An interest in CNC machining, manufacturing, engineering, or aerospace
• Basic knowledge of machining concepts and shop safety
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and/or precision measuring equipment
• A willingness to learn and receive hands-on training
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Enjoy working with their hands and solving problems
• Want to build a long-term career in advanced manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers
• Learn to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
• Perform basic part inspections and verify work meets specifications
• Learn from experienced CNC machinists, programmers, and manufacturing professionals
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
• Gain exposure to advanced CNC equipment and aerospace manufacturing processes
• Build your skills toward future CNC setup, machining, programming, quality, or manufacturing career opportunities
