About The Position

Ivy Lane Corp, a franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician to provide reliable preventive maintenance service. The technician evaluates customers’ vehicle needs, performs maintenance to help keep vehicles serviced and safe, and contributes to a customer-focused team. Requirements

• Be friendly and ready to work as part of a customer-focused team.
• Be eager to learn.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Have full mobility and the ability to work with hands above the head.
• Stand for extended periods and climb stairs.
• Be fluent in English in reading, writing, and speaking unless bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customers’ needs and work quickly and efficiently.

• Learn and maintain knowledge of products, services, and the company.
• Perform automotive preventive maintenance, including changing oil; checking and refilling vehicle fluids; replacing filters; and inspecting and replacing lights and wipers.
