About The Position
We are looking for an Entry-Level HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Portland, ME. This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated to build a career in HVAC and wants to learn from experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience in the field. The most important thing we're looking for is a good attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. You don't need to know everything coming in — we're willing to train the right person who is eager to learn and take pride in their work.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn — most important
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently as skills develop
- HVAC trade school graduate
- Valid driver's license
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work safely, professionally, and respectfully in customer environments
Nice To Haves
- 6 months of HVAC experience preferred, but not required
- Recent HVAC school graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
- EPA certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and/or light commercial HVAC service and maintenance
- Assist with troubleshooting heating and cooling systems
- Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and system inspections
- Work safely and professionally in customers' homes and businesses
- Communicate with customers and team members in a professional manner
- Continue developing your HVAC, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
