About The Position

APC Components is seeking a full-time, entry-level Assembly Associate to support production operations. This role focuses on basic manufacturing tasks such as inspecting parts, assembling kits, and packaging finished products. It's an excellent opportunity for individuals new to manufacturing or looking to start a career in production, with training provided for motivated candidates. The goal is to ensure consistent quality and support the smooth flow of production.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in assembly or related manufacturing roles.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions/procedures.
  • Understanding of quality control principles and standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and physical stamina.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
  • Consistently reports to work on time.
  • Follows instructions and responds well to management supervision/direction.
  • Demonstrates repetitive, detailed-oriented tasks requiring consistent focus and accuracy in work.
  • Follows all safety protocols; reports unsafe conditions promptly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or related training/experience.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to routine, standardized tasks.
  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Use of hands for handling, reaching, packaging.
  • Vision: Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and build product kits with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Responsible for receiving/verifying inventory.
  • Read, understand, and follow detailed procedures.
  • Gather required materials and equipment at the start of each process.
  • Align materials and assemble more complex units as needed.
  • Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy.
  • Report defective parts, malfunctions, or assembly issues.
