Entry-Level Event Manager – Community Events

About The Position

We are a fast-paced team focused on connecting organizations with local communities through live events, outreach initiatives, and public engagement activities . Our work centers around creating meaningful in-person experiences that encourage participation, build community relationships, and support important initiatives. We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Event Manager to help coordinate and support community events, pop-ups, and outreach activities . This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning their professional careers who want to gain practical experience in event coordination, public engagement, and team leadership .

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field (not required)
Strong communication and public engagement skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-focused environment
Availability for evenings and weekends when events are scheduled

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing community events, pop-ups, and outreach initiatives
Serve as a representative at live events , engaging with attendees and sharing information about partner initiatives
Coordinate event logistics , including setup, breakdown, displays, and event materials
Support preparation of event signage, informational materials, and giveaway items
Help identify new opportunities for community outreach and event participation
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and smooth event operations
Track event participation, gather feedback, and assist with post-event reporting
