About The Position

We are a fast-growing marketing and event promotions company hiring Entry-Level Event Assistants to support live events, retail activations, and community campaigns throughout Virginia Beach. This is a hands-on, public-facing role ideal for candidates who are energetic, outgoing, and eager to gain real-world experience in event marketing, brand promotions, and experiential campaigns . No prior experience is required — paid training and mentorship are provided. What You’ll Do As an Event Assistant, you’ll help bring events and activations to life:

Requirements

Outgoing, confident, and people-oriented
Reliable, professional, and proactive
Organized and able to multitask in fast-paced environments
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Flexible to work some evenings and weekends
18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Experience in retail, hospitality, food service, or events is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Support event setup, breakdown, and logistics
Represent brands and campaigns at live events, retail activations, and community programs
Distribute promotional materials, samples, and event resources
Engage with attendees and provide friendly, professional information about campaigns
Assist with registrations, sign-ups, and on-site coordination
Track event metrics and provide feedback to improve experiences
Collaborate with Event Coordinators and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution
