Entry Level Chemist- TASC
About The Position
Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an entry-level Chemist to join its Trace Analytical Structural Chemistry (TASC) team. This role is suited to a recent graduate or early-career scientist seeking hands-on laboratory experience in a regulated environment. The Chemist supports research and development studies, uses analytical instrumentation, and follows established laboratory procedures and quality standards. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Columbia, Missouri, are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC.
- Laboratory experience gained through industry, internships, research, or academic coursework.
- Experience with GLP, GMP, or LIMS.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis according to SOPs, protocols, and study requirements.
- Generate accurate and reliable experimental data.
- Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation.
- Document work in accordance with cGMP and/or GLP guidelines.
- Assist with research and development projects.
- Analyze and interpret scientific data.
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet project timelines.
