Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet company motor vehicle report standards
- Must be mechanically inclined and interested in learning automotive repair
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the day
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment as needed
- Must be willing to learn and grow within the Body Shop
Nice To Haves
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Previous automotive, mechanical, or hands-on experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced Body Shop Technicians with vehicle repairs and refinishing
- Perform basic disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components
- Assist with preparing vehicles for repair, including sanding, buffing, masking, and cleaning
- Learn and follow proper repair procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and properly
- Inspect vehicles and parts for damage or defects
- Assist with moving and positioning vehicles throughout the Body Shop
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with team members to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
- Additional job responsibilities as seen necessary by the supervisor
