About The Position
Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the life of a child with Autism! We provide comprehensive training to help you get started. This role is a great entry point to gain valuable, real-world experience in the psychology/education field. We provide the required 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) course. This position is a great fit for Teachers, Teacher's Assistants, Paraprofessionals, and Psychology/Education students.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help children with Autism.
- Ability to make a minimum 6-month commitment to ensure consistency for our client.
Responsibilities
- Provide rewarding, one-on-one therapy sessions in the client's home/community.
- Implement fun, evidence-based skill-building activities and care plans.
- Track session data easily on an electronic device.
- Collaborate closely with a supportive Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervisor.
