About The Position

The Entrepreneurship Administrative Specialist provides essential support to CCT’s entrepreneurship initiative, which includes community events, workshops and trainings, as well as courses. This role supports the entrepreneurship team by maintaining consistent communication with students, team members, and contracted and community partners. This role assists students through their registration process, supporting the use of Canvas, FPU’s learning management software, keeping detailed participant records updated and providing direct assistance to contracted partners, instructors, community partners and students. Through these responsibilities, the Administrative Specialist plays a vital role in fostering a supportive, organized, and engaging environment for learning.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Maturity and ability to assume responsibility for the execution of training events.
  • Independent judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Strong skill sets in group facilitation in ethnic-specific and class diverse settings and faith-based networking.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in design thinking, applied science and/or asset-based community development.
  • Experience in relating to diverse, low-income communities and familiarity with their needs.
  • Strong organizational ability.
  • Fluency in digital platforms & tolls (Google & Microsoft Suites, CRMs, data management, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure, exuding a mature demeanor while multi-tasking in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as an independent contributor
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretionary skills in determining when to act independently and when to consult management prior to taking action.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistent communication with staff, instructors, and students to support program coordination.
  • Support the use of online learning platforms (uploading content, troubleshooting access, helping students navigate).
  • Communicate regularly with participants and community members to share updates, reminders, and program news.
  • Keep accurate records of student participation, including attendance, registration, and progress tracking.
  • Provide one-on-one support to partners, responding to questions and connecting them with resources.
  • Track, organize, and maintain participant data.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support during events (registrations, setup, hospitality, follow-up).
  • Assist with preparing materials, resources, and communication tools needed for courses and events.
  • Collaborate with the entrepreneurship team to ensure smooth coordination across all entrepreneurship programs.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the overall success of CCT’s entrepreneurship department.
