About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Entra ID Engineer to design, implement, and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). This role is critical in securing user identities, enabling seamless access, and supporting modern authentication across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience in identity management, security best practices, and Microsoft cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7+ years of experience in identity and access management or cloud security
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with Azure services and Microsoft 365 environments
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
Nice To Haves
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Experience with Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Knowledge of SIEM tools and security monitoring
- Experience in hybrid or enterprise cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID
- Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies
- Manage user identities, roles, groups, and access permissions
- Implement identity governance, lifecycle management, and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Integrate applications (SaaS and on-prem) with Entra ID for secure authentication
- Monitor and respond to identity-related security risks and incidents
- Support hybrid identity environments (Entra ID Connect / sync services)
- Automate identity processes using PowerShell, Graph API, or automation tools
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams
