About The Position

Wipro is seeking a Microsoft Entra ID Architect to lead the design, governance, and security architecture of a large-scale identity platform. The architect will define tenant-level identity architecture, with a focus on Conditional Access policy design, privileged access controls, and reducing attack paths. The role calls for deep technical expertise and the ability to advise security and infrastructure leadership, including explaining risk-based design decisions to executive stakeholders. The position also includes broader product and solution architecture work: developing architectural designs, evaluating technology strategies, building proofs of concept, assessing design impacts and risks, supporting implementation and deployment, and improving solution scalability, reliability, cost, and performance. The architect will collaborate across security, IAM, cloud, endpoint, application, sales, development, consulting, and delivery teams; document and communicate architecture recommendations; and contribute to Wipro's architecture practice and thought leadership. The role is full-time and located in Monroe Township, New Jersey. The stated compensation range is $60,000 to $135,000, with final compensation dependent on factors including location, skills, and relevant experience. Wipro's standard benefits include medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off inclusive of sick leave, and other paid and unpaid leave options.

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, including tenant architecture and advanced security controls.
  • Proven experience designing Conditional Access policies at scale, including risk-based access, session controls, and authentication strength enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of identity attack vectors, token theft, privilege escalation, and identity-centric threat models.
  • Experience working in regulated, audit-driven environments with high expectations for control design and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to senior IT, security, and risk executives.
  • Extensive experience scripting against Microsoft Graph API for automation, reporting, and advanced identity management tasks.
