About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Microsoft Entra ID / IAM Engineer position for our client. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Entra ID identity and access management solutions. The engineer will configure and manage various security features like Conditional Access policies, multifactor authentication (MFA), passwordless authentication, and identity governance. Support for hybrid identity environments using Microsoft Entra Connect, and troubleshooting identity federation and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) are key responsibilities. The position requires applying Zero Trust principles, integrating IAM solutions with Microsoft Intune and other enterprise applications, and automating identity administration tasks using Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell. The role also supports IAM transformation initiatives, security improvements, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID and identity and access management (IAM).
• Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect authentication protocols.
• Experience with hybrid identity, Microsoft Entra Connect, Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication, and identity governance.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, identity security risks, and access control best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Graph API, and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise IAM solutions.
• Experience managing hybrid identity environments and enterprise authentication integrations.
• Preferred experience in regulated industries and IAM transformation programs.
• Experience with Azure architecture is a plus.
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).
• Exposure to Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305).

Responsibilities
