About The Position

The Entertainment Team Lead supports and supervises the daily execution of entertainment programming and special event operations across the park. This hands-on role which blends performer coordination, event support, and guest experience enhancement. You’ll collaborate closely with Entertainment, and Operations to ensure every show, activation, and event runs smoothly and with the signature Anakeesta charm. Requirements

  • Previous experience in entertainment, performing arts, events, hospitality, or themed attractions, a plus.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
  • Stagecraft experience (wardrobe, scenic, or performance) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Flexible schedule — evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test if 18+.
  • Ability to lift/move light items, walk the park requiring uphill and downhill terrains, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day entertainment programming across the park.
  • Provide on-site leadership and support to performers and technicians.
  • Maintain show quality through performance reviews, and feedback.
  • Coordinate performer schedules and rotations for consistent coverage.
  • Assist with daily transportation of entertainment personnel using entertainment vehicles (training provided).
  • Support the wardrobe team to maintain props, wigs, costumes, and scenic pieces.
  • Support costume builds, repairs, laundering, and inventory organization.
  • Ensure all entertainment activities meet Anakeesta’s safety, hospitality, and guest interaction standards.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, props, and costumes for cleanliness and readiness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including performance logs, attendance, and incidents.
  • Assist with event setup including signage, décor, furniture, and scenic elements.
  • Provide on-site support during special events to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support décor preparation and installation for seasonal and themed events.
  • Help execute live shows, character meet-and-greets, and pop-up performances.
  • Serve as a liaison between Entertainment and other departments (Operations, Guest Services, etc.).
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new entertainment staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to enhance the guest experience.
