About The Position

We are hiring Rigging Professionals to support concert tours, festivals, and other live events in the greater Atlanta area. We provide labor to large and small venues and work with some of the biggest production companies in the business. This is a part-time, on-call, as needed (W-2) position. Hours will vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with no minimum guarantee of hours per week or month. Candidates with prior live event experience and open availability are preferred. Requirements

  • Work-at-heights professional with entertainment industry training or other rigging, climbing, or rope-access experience.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop & twist.
  • Comfortable climbing & working at heights.
  • Reliable source of transportation to get to and from event sites in a timely manner.
  • Must understand general industry terms and fundamental principles.
  • Must be willing to work varying stagehand level roles.
  • Must be willing to work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors.
  • Must wear appropriate attire and footwear for concert / corporate events as outlined in Rhino policies.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with prior live event experience and open availability are preferred.
  • SPRAT / IRATA Certifications preferred.
  • Fall Pro Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support concert tours, festivals, and other live events.
  • Work at heights as required for rigging.
  • Handle equipment by pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 50 lbs.
  • Consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist as required for on-site tasks.
  • Work varying stagehand level roles.
  • Work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions.
  • Communicate effectively in English to ensure the safe execution of tasks and coordination with crew and clients.
  • Receive, understand, and respond to safety-critical instructions in dynamic, high-risk environments.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers while working around heavy equipment, elevated structures, rigging, and rapidly changing conditions.
