About The Position

The Project Manager supports the Vice President, Entertainment by driving strategic priorities, project execution, operational coordination, and executive-level documentation across the Entertainment Department. This management-level individual contributor role maintains visibility to active initiatives across the department, translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, monitors ownership, timelines, risks, and success measures, and produces polished briefings, communications, dashboards, and reference materials. The role partners across Entertainment and with cross-functional stakeholders to keep work aligned to the Entertainment Strategy and Princess Enriched brand initiative while ensuring progress is visible, measurable, and communicated with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Project management principles and practices, task tracking, timeline management, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, workplace policies and procedures, collaboration tools and techniques, and operational context within entertainment, hospitality, or cruise environments.
  • Exceptional written communication, time management, organization, prioritization, research, analysis, synthesis of multi-source information, executive briefing, dashboard/tracking tool development, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance, meet tight deadlines, work with a high degree of autonomy, exercise sound independent judgment, handle confidential information with discretion, lead through influence, build credibility with stakeholders at all levels, and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, strategic operations, or a senior leadership support role, with accountability for driving cross-functional initiatives and delivering polished, high-stakes outputs to senior leadership.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience producing high-quality written and strategic documents across professional formats with minimal editing required before distribution or publication.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing operational tracking tools, strategic dashboards, and reporting frameworks in support of a VP or equivalent senior leader.
  • Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and judgment, particularly in environments involving organizational change, restructuring, or personnel matters.
  • Established track record of working effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where strategic priorities shift and independent leadership is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management certification such as PMP or equivalent, or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in cruise line, hospitality, or entertainment; experience supporting organizational or strategic change; familiarity with collaboration and project management platforms such as SharePoint, Airtable, or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clear and current view of active Entertainment Department initiatives and ensure workstreams align to the Entertainment Strategy and Princess Enriched brand initiative.
  • Partner with the VP to translate strategic objectives into action plans with ownership, timelines, and success measures.
  • Identify gaps between strategic intent and execution, surface misalignment early, and support course correction with the VP and vertical leaders.
  • Prepare summaries, progress updates, and management briefings for the VP and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate active projects within the VP portfolio, tracking status, ownership, timelines, blockers, risks, and dependencies.
  • Build and manage tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that help the VP and leadership team monitor progress and accountability.
  • Proactively follow up with project owners, escalate issues requiring leadership intervention, and keep initiatives moving.
  • Lead improvements to operational systems that help the department manage priorities and communicate progress.
  • Draft and manage professional communications on behalf of the VP and department leadership, adapting tone, level of detail, and framing to the audience and sensitivity of the topic.
  • Coordinate with Entertainment teams and cross-functional partners including HR, Hotel Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Corporate Communications.
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, briefing documents, follow-up summaries, action items, and owner tracking.
  • Maintain discretion and appropriate information scoping across stakeholder groups.
  • Conduct research and analysis in support of VP strategic priorities, including benchmarking, feasibility assessments, and synthesis of guest satisfaction, NPS, and operational performance Information.
  • Build presentation decks, strategy overviews, and reference materials for senior leader and cross-functional communication.
  • Translate complex information into accessible formats for multiple organizational audiences.
  • Prioritize and deliver time-sensitive ad hoc requests with limited oversight.
