About The Position

Entertainment Production Supervisor is responsible for leadership, planning and execution of technical production for entertainment events and supported venue activities. This position leads technical advancing, production planning, vendor and labor coordination, technical resource management and production readiness while maintaining established safety, quality, budget and operational standards. The position serves as the department’s technical production lead and primary point of contact for production partners and works closely with Operations, Ticketing and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality entertainment experiences. The role supervises production staff, technical team members and assigned event personnel.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in live entertainment production, including hands-on familiarity with professional audio, lighting, video, staging, and related live-production systems.
  • One (1) year experience in a supervisory or lead capacity preferred.
  • Tribal gaming, hospitality or large-scale event environment experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of live-production environments including; audio, lighting, video, staging, backline, signal flow and production plans
  • Ability to interpret technical riders, stage plots, input lists and production specifications and translate them into executional production plans
  • Demonstrated ability to advance complex live events and coordinate vendors, technical labor and production resources
  • Strong production judgment with the ability to identify technical and safety risks and make real-time decisions during live events within scope
  • Ability to develop and manage production schedules, labor plans, technical scopes and event-level cost estimates
  • Ability to evaluate vendor proposals, equipment rentals and technical invoices for scope, necessity and accuracy
  • Proven ability to supervise technical teams, delegate work, provide coaching and maintain accountability for safety, performance and professional standards
  • Effective cross-functional communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skill and proficiency with production documentation, scheduling tools and project management systems
  • Ability to operate independently within established authority while recognizing and escalating material financial, contractual, safety or operational risks.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical advancing for confirmed entertainment bookings by reviewing artist riders, technical specifications, stage plots, input lists, production schedules and venue requirements.
  • Translate artist and tour requirements into actionable production plans; identify technical constraints, conflicts, resource requirements and production risks and coordinate appropriate solutions within approved scope.
  • Lead and coordinate technical production requirements including audio, lighting, video, staging, rigging, power, backline and related production systems.
  • Ensure technical requirements are planned and executed within approves scopes, schedules, budgets and venue capabilities.
  • Coordinate technical rehearsals, sound checks and production readiness activities.
  • Coordinate approved production vendors, contractors and technical labor supporting entertainment events.
  • Develop labor requirements and schedules, communicate technical scopes and deliverables, monitor vendor performance and verify services against approved production requirements.
  • Coordinate vendor access, load-in, rehearsals, performance and load-out in partnership with Operations.
  • Develop event-level technical production estimates and resource requirements within established parameters.
  • Review vendor proposals, labor estimates, rental requirements and production invoices for scope and accuracy.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, avoid unnecessary rentals or labor where appropriate and escalate material budget variances, scope changes or unplanned production cost to the Promotions and Entertainment Manager.
  • Coordinate the availability, readiness, maintenance and appropriate use of entertainment production equipment and technical resources.
  • Maintain accurate equipment inventories and identify repair, replacement, rental or capital needs.
  • Evaluate available in-house resources before souring external resources and coordinate approved rentals when additional capabilities are required.
  • Ensure technical production activities comply with applicable safety requirements, venue standards, internal policies and approved production parameters.
  • Identify and address production risks involving staging, rigging, electrical/power requirements, equipment placement, load-in/load-out and other technical activities.
  • Stop or escalate unsafe production activities as appropriate and coordinate corrective action with applicable internal departments, vendors and leadership.
  • Serve as the primary technical production lead during entertainment events.
  • Coordinate production vendors, technical labor and internal production resources through load-in, set-up, rehearsals, sound check, performance and load-out.
  • Troubleshoot production issues in real time, prioritize continuity of show operations and escalate material safety, financial and operational concerns as appropriate.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of internal production capabilities by identifying functions appropriate for in-house execution, developing standardized production workflows and technical documentation, supporting equipment and capital planning and reducing unnecessary reliance on external production resources where operationally and financially appropriate.
  • Provide technical production planning and coordination for approved property and group sales events requiring entertainment production resources.
  • Evaluate technical requirements, recommend appropriate production solutions, coordinate internal or external resources and support consistent execution within established service standards and approved scopes.
  • Supervise, train, schedule and support assigned production staff and technical team members.
  • Establish event specific technical assignments, labor plans and performance expectations.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance and performance support to foster accountability, safety, professionalism and consistent production standards.
  • Ensure assigned staff are appropriately trained and qualified for the technical functions that they perform.
  • Partner with Operations, Ticketing, Group Sales, Facilities, IT, Security, Food & Beverage and other stakeholders to integrate technical production requirements into event and venue operations.
  • Communicate production impacts, schedules, resource requirements and constraints through established channels.
  • Identify and escalate material safety risks, scope changes, budget concerns or technical limitations to the Promotions and Entertainment Manager.
  • Develop and maintain production documentation including technical specifications, venue information, equipment inventories, production schedules, vendor scopes, show files and standardized operating procedures.
  • Participate in post-event debriefs, identify recurring production issues and recommend improvements to technical systems, workflows, equipment and vendor utilization.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet changing business needs and take ownership of specialized functions, contributing to team success with a proactive approach.
