General Dynamics Information Technology•Annapolis Junction, MD
•$148,750 - $201,250•Onsite

About The Position

The Enterprise Systems Engineer works across a large enterprise IT environment spanning 28 engineering disciplines and supporting tens of thousands of devices and users. This is not a single-system engineering role; the engineer investigates complex operational problems, develops capabilities, automates processes, and improves the effectiveness, security, and compliance of enterprise systems. The role calls for a curious, analytical problem-solver who can work with limited direction, research unfamiliar technologies, test hypotheses, and persist until a problem is understood and a solution can be recommended. The engineer will work across IT services, build scalable automation and engineering solutions, evaluate emerging technologies, and collaborate with senior engineers and architects to validate designs and bring concepts into operation. The position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. It requires a current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree, at least eight years of related experience, and a Security+ certification for 8570 compliance. The stated salary range is $148,750–$201,250, subject to experience, location, and contractual requirements.
