Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Software Solution Engineer or any related occupation (Experience can be before, during, or after degree program.)

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis of customer business needs and operational requirements related to enterprise workflow management and reporting solutions, integration with financial/back-office systems, as well as complex facility system design, implementation, manufacturing, and support processes.
  • Develop “as is” and “to be” process documentation, identify metrics, document gaps and deficiencies.
  • Perform independent research of industry solutions, best practices, design patterns, and available technologies for enterprise software systems applicable to the customer’s identified business operational needs.
  • Develop technical requirements (functional, performance, security, usability, maintainability).
  • Develop, document, communicate, and refine conceptual solution architecture; identify solution alternatives, establish evaluation criteria, and lead solution architecture selection based on a combination of commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom components.
  • Based on the selected solution architecture, develop feature specifications to lead development of enterprise web-based applications, extend functionality of COTS systems (e.g., Atlassian Jira and Confluence), and develop integrations using advanced tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Software QA to develop functional and performance testing approach for the integration solution.
  • Perform application configuration in accordance with the implementation/deployment plans, provide escalation-level post-deployment / operational support to stakeholders.
