About The Position

This role involves engineering, supporting, and optimizing enterprise-grade services across large-scale environments. The engineer will monitor service performance, availability, and reliability, ensuring adherence to SLAs. They will troubleshoot complex issues across Windows, identity, VDI, monitoring, and cloud platforms, and drive continual service improvement through root-cause analysis and performance tuning. The position also supports cloud transition initiatives, including re-platforming and modernization of on-prem services, and collaborates with cross-functional teams for seamless integration. Implementing and maintaining enterprise monitoring solutions for proactive detection and remediation, as well as documenting engineering processes, configurations, and operational procedures, are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • Willing to work in the Annapolis Junction, MD area
  • Current or active security clearance with a FS polygraph
  • Over the last 19+ years, gained demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
