About The Position

The Enterprise Risk Management Associate is a second-line risk analyst supporting enterprise risk management oversight for Axos Bank. The role identifies and assesses key risks and related controls across the Bank, with a focus on Vendor Risk. The ERM team works to support compliance with applicable laws and regulations and focuses on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating business risks. It is a small, nimble group of subject matter experts that provides guidance to business units in support of their growth and innovation objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in database and spreadsheet software.

Nice To Haves

• Third Party Risk Management experience within a banking or financial institution.
• Experience with Compliance Risk or Information Security Risk.

Responsibilities

• Help enhance and enforce the operational and third-party risk management framework and governance.
• Conduct risk assessments and due diligence processes for new and existing third parties.
• Work with various stakeholders to address risk-related inquiries and ensure proper risk mitigation.
• Manage competing priorities and drive them to completion.
• Work comfortably in a team environment.
