Enterprise Product Manager

BlacksmithNew York, NY
$200,000 - $240,000

About The Position

Blacksmith is seeking an Enterprise Product Manager to make their products enterprise-grade as they move upmarket from high-growth startups to large engineering organizations. This role involves owning the roadmap for enterprise readiness across CI, sandboxes, and their coding agent, operating like a GM for the enterprise segment. The focus is on defining and driving security, auditability, and compliance features, shaping the enterprise networking strategy, and owning enterprise identity and administration. The role also includes building the programmatic surface enterprises expect, such as usage and cost APIs, and working closely with sales on enterprise deals, packaging, and pricing. This is not a 0-to-1 exploration role, but rather a focus on maturing existing products for larger customers.

Requirements

  • Strong taste in what not to build; ability to make real progress for largest customers while fighting product bloat.
  • Shipped enterprise capabilities at a growth-stage infrastructure or developer-tools company.
  • Experience taking a product through SSO/RBAC/audit-log/security-review.
  • Matured a post-PMF product, not just launched new ones.
  • Technical enough to earn trust with infrastructure engineers and technical buyers.
  • Understand CI/CD, cloud networking, and compute platforms.
  • Sold to or worked closely with enterprise buyers (VP Eng, Head of Platform, CISO).
  • Understand procurement cycles, security reviews, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
  • AI-native in own workflow: Claude/Cursor-style tools daily, comfortable with MCP and CLI-based tooling, and instinctively automate manual PM tasks.
  • Always take a customer-first approach and enjoy being the voice of the customer internally.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap that makes Blacksmith enterprise-ready across our product lines (CI, sandboxes, and our coding agent).
  • Operate like a GM for our enterprise segment: own the outcome across product lines and work with whichever engineering teams own the relevant systems.
  • Define and drive our security, auditability, and compliance surface: audit logging and SIEM integrations, certifications, and the trust documentation that gets us through enterprise security review.
  • Shape our enterprise networking story: static egress identity, egress policy controls, private connectivity, and tenant isolation, in partnership with the engineering teams that operate our fleet.
  • Own enterprise identity and administration: SSO, roles and permissions, org management, and least-privilege integration models.
  • Build the programmatic surface enterprises expect: usage and cost APIs, cost attribution, and integrations into the observability and cost-management tools our customers already run.
  • Sit in on enterprise deals with sales; turn procurement blockers, security questionnaires, and POC feedback into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Own packaging and pricing for the enterprise tier with GTM.

  • 401k match
