About the Team: Protective Operations is a trusted business partner dedicated to protecting our people, securing our facilities, managing risk, and enabling the safe, secure, and uninterrupted execution of Relativity Space's mission through operational excellence, innovation, and exceptional customer service. About the Role: This role serves as the technical lead for physical security infrastructure across Relativity Space facilities, including manufacturing sites, test locations, launch facilities, and corporate offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, hands-on installation, configuration, commissioning, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and supporting security technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate is expected to install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain enterprise access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related physical security systems while leading projects and vendor partners.

Requirements

  • Years of experience in the field installing and servicing enterprise security systems.
  • Comfortable programming LenelS2.
  • Comfortable configuring Avigilon systems.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting access control hardware.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to terminate low-voltage cabling.
  • Willingness to work from lifts and ladders when necessary.
  • Ability to solve technical problems independently.
  • Technically hands-on.
  • Extensive experience designing, installing, configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting enterprise access control, CCTV, and physical security systems.
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage security infrastructure, door hardware, electronic locking devices, networking fundamentals, and integrated security technologies.
  • Ability to balance technical execution with strategic planning and program management.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Networking experience (Cisco, Aruba, VLANs)
  • Aerospace or Defense industry experience
  • Active or previous Secret/Top Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Design, hands-on installation, configuration, commissioning, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and supporting security technologies.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain enterprise access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related physical security systems.
  • Lead projects and vendor partners.
  • Manage complex security technology projects.
  • Build strong partnerships across IT, Facilities, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
