About The Position

This job is a Team Lead role responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include executing LOB or ECF processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation, and building out actions plans and milestones. The Risk, Audit & Regulatory Oversight lead will apply deep expertise in risk management, regulatory engagement, and governance to safeguard marketing operations. This senior leader will partner with executive stakeholders to identify, escalate, and mitigate compliance and operational risks proactively. The role requires collaboration across marketing teams, control partners, and risk officers to assess emerging risks, remediate gaps, and ensure sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise policies. The position will serve as a primary liaison with Internal Audit, Compliance, Operational Risk Executives, and external regulators, managing responses to exams and inspections. The leader will champion a strong risk culture that promotes transparency, debate, and accountability while balancing risk reduction with operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
  • Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
  • Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews
  • Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting
  • Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews
  • Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting
  • Lead targeted risk assessments across marketing processes and technology platforms to proactively identify emerging risks.
  • Manage in-line challenges by engaging with stakeholders to validate risk assumptions, challenge control effectiveness, and ensure timely escalation of concerns.
  • Proactively identify new issues where risk is present and develop mitigation strategies to reduce likelihood and impact.
  • Drive a culture of risk awareness and accountability within Enterprise Marketing Controls.
  • Lead and coordinate all audit activities related to Enterprise Marketing, ensuring readiness and timely execution of audit deliverables.
  • Manage and track audit issues within the marketing portfolio, driving remediation plans and sustainable solutions to close gaps effectively.
  • Oversee responses to regulatory examinations impacting marketing activities, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submissions, and alignment with enterprise standards.
